BBQ Chicken













Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons of Mrs Balls Orignial Recipe Chutney

- 1 tsp of all purpose seasoning (ideally knorr aromat all purpose savoury seasoning)

- 1 tsp of garlic powder

- 1 tsp of onion powder

- 1tsp of paprika

- A pinch of ground black pepper and salt to taste


Preparation

Wash, paper towel dry pieces of chicken. Score the pieces of chicken and marinate with ingredients (massage ingredients into the chicken until evenly coated). Leave chicken to marinate for 30 minutes. In a separate bowl mix ingredients to a pastie texture (add a tspn of water to help create consistency if necessary).


Remove marinated chicken from fridge, leave to return to room temperature and BBQ. Highly recommend cooking chicken on a cast iron griddle pan, if not, use a metal rack and place a baking tray underneath (as illustrated in the picture above). Cook chicken at 73 celsius for 25-30 minutes until throughly cooked. Whilst turning chicken every so often brush with paste.


Once cooked all the way through brush chicken with paste for the last time, let the chicken cool and serve. Enjoy!!
