- 1 tsp of thyme
- Knorr chicken stock cup
- 1 tsp of cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp of all purpose seasoning
- 1 tsp of garlic powder
- 1 tsp of ginger powder
- 2 spring onions roughly chopped (leave the leafy green bit for garnishing)
- a pitch of grated nutmeg
- Half a cup of flour
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Sriracha
- Mrs Balls Chutney (the original recipe)
Preparation
Wash and paper towel dry chicken wings. Cut wings to your desire. Place wings in mixing bowel and marinate with cayenne pepper, nutmeg, garlic, ginger, spring onions, thyme, stock cup and a pitch of ground salt and black pepper to taste. Mix well, making sure all wings are evenly coated. Place in refrigerator and leave to marinate for an hour (or at-least 30 minutes).
Remove wings from refrigerator and coat evenly with flour. Let the wings cool to room temperature before shallow frying in them in oil (ideally vegetable oil). Cook wings until golden brown at medium- low heat. Once cooked place wings on a plate, garnish with the leafy green bit of the spring onion, a drizzle of sriracha and chutney and serve.
Looks like daddy wings is surely worth a try.
